Walter Jackson Obituary
July 27, 1938 - September 2, 2021
Sacramento, California - Deputy Sheriff Walter Jackson Jr passed peacefully at home.
He is survived by his wife Pattie (Perry) Jackson. Siblings Dorothy Pietruszka (Sacramento, CA) Robert Jackson (Citrus Heights, CA), Elaine Lilly (Prescott, AZ), John Jackson (Lincoln, CA) and Rodney Jackson (Zamora, CA). Daughters Debbie Jackson & Denise Lieber (Kyle, TX), Lisa Baker (Oregon House, CA) Dona Lyn Dotson (Brookings, OR) and Cindy Perry (Cameron Park, CA) 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by first wife "Lynn" Linda Jackson and daughter Sheri Martinez.
Walt was born in San Antonio, TX, raised in Carmichael, CA. Graduated from El Camino High School.
He loved reading, music and cars of the 50s, car shows, bowling and his Chevy trucks.
His favorite places were Monterey, CA, Brookings, OR, Ft Bragg, CA and Jackson Meadows.
Walts greatest gift was his love of family. At 83 he still had a sharp memory. Loved to share stories and family history.
He served with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department for 42 years. Deputy Sheriff 1967-1993 and reserves 1993-2009.
Walt will be dearly missed by his family and all who loved him.
Services will be October 2, 2021, 11am at Christ Community Church 5025 Manzanita Ave. Carmichael, CA 95608 with reception to follow

Walt was my first partner´ working North Highlands in `72. We fished many times at Jackson Meadows and other lakes. Walt was a positive influence on me.
