Bennie Jack Warner

Bennie Jack Warner, of China Grove, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Bennie was born in China Grove, on Nov. 28 to the late Joshua Warner and Helen Louise Sloop. Bennie is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Loretta Sue Holshouser Warner. He graduated from China Grove High. Bennie served as Private First Class in the United States Airforce from 1956 to 1959. He retired from the Town of China Grove as maintenance worker. Bennie was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his dog Zed. Bennie was a member of the China Grove Jaycees, a former usher, Lutheran Men, Church Council, and Happy Club member at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Bennie is survived by his daughter, Lorie Warner Williams of Mt. Ulla; son, Dean William Warner (Donna) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Valerie Williams Graham (Justin), Curtis Williams, Jill Warner, Travis Williams, Jacob Warner (Hali); and six great-grandchildren. Services: The memorial service will be held at 9:00AM on Friday, July 9, 2021, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in China Grove. Rev Dr. Marcus Miller will be officiating. Burial is at 11:00AM at the Veteran's National Cemetery in Salisbury. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, China Grove – Maintenance Fund. Lady's Funeral Home & Crematory of Kannapolis is serving the Warner family.
