To Mrs. Doby and family, I only knew Mr. Doby for a little bit over the past year and I just wanted to send my best to the family of a man that touched me with his compassion and love for his church and Lord Jesus. I'll miss seeing him, as I know you all will, he always had a special, joyful look about him. May God bless you and comfort you at this time.

WE WILL MISS BILL. BUT HE HAD
A WONDERFUL WITNESS TO THOSE THAT VISITED HIM. HE
SAID THAT GOD HAD BLESSED HIM IN SO MANY WAYS..ESPECIALLY WITH HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. HE SAID HE WAS READY TO GO. HIS WITNESS SHOULD MAKE US A BETTER WITNESS.

My prayers are with the family and I am truly sorry for your loss. One thing that was evident through Bill's life was that he loved the Lord and wanted to serve him with every ounce if his being. The last few times when he was at church and Sy called on him to pray I remember him asking the Lord to forgive him for not being as faithful to his church as he should be. I remember thinking what an awesome testimony that is to be that in love with Jesus, I want to be that dedicated to the things of the Lord. What an amazing man he was and still is and the one thing that we can find comfort in is that beyond a shadow of a doubt I know he heard those words, "Well Done thy good and faithful servant." He is in heaven with Jesus looking down over all of you and we have the reassurance that if we trust Christ as our Lord and Savior we will see him again someday. It's not goodbye, it's just see you later. I love you all and am praying for you.
