What a fine Lady. A wonderful elected official. I considered Lorene a Friend. She leaves great memories to a first class Family.

Your Mother and grandmother was a lovely lady. Over the last few years, I would see her, and occasionally join her at breakfast at College BBQ. She usually brought a home grown tomato to enjoy with her meal.

I sat beside Lorene on many trips with the agricultural tours with the Chamber. She loved visiting the farmers abd loved people so much. She told me about her grandchildren and how proud she was of all of them. Such a sweetheart!! I am so blessed to have spent time with her

My Shuping family loved Lorene. She served our County well just like my Dad while Sheriff. At one time she even dated my brother Jack while in high school. Great memories.

Mrs. Lorene Coates was a great example, a friend, a champion, a Christian, a mother, and a wonderful person with a great smile. It did not matter where I might see her - she would smile and greet me and ask how I was doing and when I asked, the answer was "I'm fine. I'm so blessed." What a treasure! I am so thankful to have known this person. Renee, my heart is with you and your family.
