Benjamin Williams Obituary

Benjamin David Williams 1995 ~ 2007 On February 9, 2007, our beloved "Benj" returned home to be with his Heavenly Father as the result of an automobile accident. Benjamin David Williams was born February 25, 1995, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Chris and Michelle Williams. He was in Mr. Gesteland's 6th grade class at Highland Park Elementary School. Ben had a sparkling personality and an exuberance for life that touched everyone who knew him. Ben loved skateboarding and snowboarding with his brother Michael, and playing basketball and football for his Highland Rams little league teams. Ben had a generous spirit and a sincere interest in the well-being of friends, family, and all those around him. He possessed insight beyond his years and would often be the voice of wisdom for the family. Heaven will be a happier place with Ben there. Ben was accompanied in death by his loving mother, Michelle Williams, and by his sweet sister, Anna Williams. Ben is survived by his father, Christopher Williams; his brothers, Michael and Samuel Williams; his grandparents Paul and Nadine Williams and Gordon and Audrea Dorny; his cousins Trevor, Erin, and Emily Williams; Ashley, Jacob, Abigail, and William Underwood; Timothy, Katherine, Emilie, and Michael Dorny; Jane and Matthew Dorny; and many loving aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Salt Lake Highland Stake Center, 2700 S. and Filmore Street. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 16, 2007, from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 S. Interment will be at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery. "GO BIG OR GO HOME"

Ben, I truly miss your smiling face. You were in the room across from me at school. I remember the times that you would come and ask if you could have some candy from the Computer Lab. I miss the smiling face and hi, out in front of the school. I know that your memory lives on, as do you, but you will be dearly missed.

Ben,
You were the life of our Weblos pack last year. We had so many fun times with you playing basketball and always making us laugh. You have the ability to make everyone feel important. You had a kind heart that always made people want to be on your team. Thank you for being such a great example to the other boys and for being such a great influence on all of us!
