I will always have such fun and fond thoughts about "Sparky". I was fortunate to meet him while we both worked at the construction of the Huntington Power Plant. He was like the big Brother that always watched over me. -even though I continually teased him about cramming himself into a tiny car, amusing to watch! He was like a gentle giant, with a kind and thoughtful heart, along with a sense of humor.
He took time to answer my questions and show me drafting charts to explain the construction process and how all the different trades were involved.
It was such a pleasure to work with him and become friends

My dad was a mountain among men. He was big and strong and his sense of duty was unmatched. Family was always first and we all knew how much we were loved. We will forever miss you and your big heart. Love you with all my heart.

As a young cousin of Darrell, I remember thinking he was the most handsome man I had ever seen! Darrell was a most accomplished electrician and man!
I am hoping I can make it to his celebration of life.. thanks Kathy!
