Dennis was as close a friend as a man could ever have. We hunted, fished, and played basketball together. We attended Jackson Junior High and West Highschool together.
I remember his MG sports car and how we would pack 4-5 of us (myself, Gordy Clawson, and Frank Knowles)
interesting his car and go for pizza. We had dozens if not hundreds of good times together. Dennis was an intelligent and good man and was always a gentleman. His family can be proud of him.

Denny and my husband, Dave, grew up across the street from one another. When I moved and started school at Onequa Elementary School, Dave became my best friend and Denny became and stayed my good friend through grade school, Jackson Jr. High School and West High School. He was always there for Dave and me through our whole lives. Loved him dearly.

Loving Memories of our dear Dennis Roland Shingleton.
Dennis is preceeded in death by his parents Willard & Alice Shingleton, brother Willard, and infant brother Ronald.
Lived in and around SLC and graduated from West High.
He enjoyed keeping up with his high school friends throughout his life. Den managed structural engineering locations throughout the country. For toxic waste incineration. He led many men with different skill sets. All who worked with Den really enjoyed him. They wouldn't let him retire.
Den had a great memory and talent for storytelling and music. His siblings and later on his children, and grandchildren ,LOVED to listen to his amazing stories. And songs. He was loved by his children, family, nieces , nephews, and many more. He had a big heart. Rest in peace Uncle Den We will miss you!
