Bountiful, UT - Graham "Duffy" Warren Duffield, of Bountiful, Utah, was born on October 18, 1932, in Yakima, Washington, to Harriett Weber and Raymond Duffield. He passed away at age 85 on August 28, 2018. He graduated from East High School in 1952. Duffy served in the Army from 1952 to 1954 in the Korean War. He was in the Mining industry at Kennecott until retiring in 1983 and in the Golf industry at The Salt Lake Country Club until retiring in 2005. Duffy was the loving husband of Beverly Ann Lee Duffield, whom he married on August 15, 1968. They had just celebrated their 50th anniversary together. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wilfred Duffield. Duffy is survived by his sons, Barry (Donna) of Warner Robins, Georgia and Steve (Lori) of Mountain Green; daughter, Marie (Corey) Thompson of Bountiful; brother, Marshall Duffield; sister, Shirley Kocherhans; and a sole grandson, Cole Andrew Duffield. He also leaves behind his greatly loved cat, Grey Kitty. We will miss you "Pops". Those who wish may donate in Duffy's name to Best Friends Animal Society. Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Russon Mortuary, 295 N Main St, Bountiful, Utah, where the funeral services will then begin at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow with military honors at Memorial Lake View Cemetery, 1640 E Lakeview Dr, Bountiful. It has been seven years since you crossed the Rainbow Bridge and I miss you each and every day, but then perhaps you know this. You perhaps know that I "talk" to your picture every day and you always give me the right answer! Being here without you has been very educational and yes, sometimes very painful. Dusty joined you this year and it was good to glimpse reminders of what used to be and see people we both knew. Sadly, some hold onto matters best let go and that has been the worst part. We both were there for them through it all, but I must let go and look forward. Life still holds much beauty and wonder and I so wish we could share it. Until I cross I will always remember you.

Incredibly, it has been a year now and our 51st wedding anniversary has passed without you. I miss you so very much and not a day passes without my remembering you many times during that day. I miss you, my best friend. Grey Kitty is in my lap and has not forgotten. He will not sit in your place on the sofa. Be assured though, all is well and will continue to be so, God willing.

The love of my life through 50 years. My beloved peacekeeper. My best friend. Life isn't the same without you but I shall try to do good to others in your name and the name of God just as you did while you were here. When I go for rides in the car you're with me. I even comment on the changes you were watching while in life here and I go the places we always loved. Soon enough I also will cross the Rainbow Bridge and the elders who lead the northern lights will lead me to you, their lights even brighter the higher we go. Until then know I love you now and forever.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
