Roosevelt, UT-James Nelson Lemon, age 72, passed away February 22, 2016, in Holladay. Born February 12, 1944 in Roosevelt, to James Farnsworth and Madonna Nelson Lemon. Married Kathleen Jensen on April 24, 1970 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survived by wife, Kathleen; children, James David Lemon, Roosevelt; Emily
(Mario) Martinez, San Jose, CA; Mark (Jessie) Lemon, Sandy; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marcia (Neil) White; Loya (Jim) Nebeker, both of Roosevelt; Lyle (Glenda) Lemon, Springville; Neil (Alisha) Lemon, Colorado; Lynn (Susan) Lemon, Logan, Sheryl (Craig) Burton, Mtn. Home; Deann (Kent) Thomason, Evanston, WY; and Jerry (Jodie) Lemon, Spanish Fork; sister-in-law, Peggy Lemon, Ioka.
Preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, David.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Roosevelt LDS Stake Center, 447 East Lagoon Street, Roosevelt, Utah. Viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park with Military Honors presented by the American Legion Post #64 and the Utah National Guard.

So sorry to learn of his passing. He and all of the Lemon family have been dear friends and loved by all the Winterton family. I remember looking up to him as a young girl when I spent time with Deann, seeing him as he reported his mission, and as he found the most beautiful wife.
