Jami was a ray of sunshine in my life. Every conversation was a riot - full of school girl laughter and playfulness. We were like long lost sisters.
Jami and I met in NYC at SAP in 2008. I was the receptionist and she was the administrative assistant, who walked across the room with such command, I thought she must be an executive. We would later laugh at the fact that I used to stand when she entered the room, as it to salute her. That was the kind of presence she had.
Jami could always embrace my most far out ideas - the ones I kept to myself in most other company. She was pretty far out herself- flirting with the edges - the places others feared to go. She wanted to experience life to the fullest. And she was all the richer for it.
I know Jami could always see beyond the veil and so I'm sure it was like going home for her to step back through it.
It doesn't feel like she left. Her energy is still very much present.
I love her with all my heart.
