Marilyn Bernardo Obituary

Marilyn Jensen Coates Bernardo 1931 ~ 2005 Marilyn Viona Jensen Coates Bernardo, 74, loving wife, mom, and sister, passed away June 8, 2005. She was born March 29, 1931 in Copperton, Utah to George A. and Evelyn Allen Jensen. She married Asel L. Coates on April 12, 1966; their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Asel preceded her in death. Marilyn married Johnny Bernardo in Midvale, Utah. Marilyn worked as a caregiver in several Care Centers and at Deseret Industries. She enjoyed the outdoors and her activity in the LDS Church. Survivors: husband, Johnny; children, Stacie and Connie; sisters, Thelma Pearce, Maurine Gleason (Jack); stepsons, Craig Bernardo, Kevin Bernardo (Amy). Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gordon. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mount Pleasant Utah City Cemetery. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Utah, on Saturday from 9-11 a.m. prior to services.
