Nathan Ryan Bateman
1986-2012
Nathan Ryan Bateman returned home to his Heavenly Father May 11, 2012. He was born October 13, 1986. Nathan had a love for God's artwork and nature's beauty. He loved the outdoors, hiking and fishing. He had a generous heart and contagious smile. He showed unconditional love to his family, friends, and dog Koda. He was always aware of others and their needs.
Nathan is survived by his father and step mother Boyd and Ronda Bateman. His mother Tammy Holmes Bateman, sister Anna, brothers Tyson, Jonathon, Bryan and wife Danielle, Chris and wife Karlee, and nephew Max.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00am at the Orchard 10th Ward Chapel at 3317 South 800 West, Bountiful. Friends may come Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at the Russon Brother Mortuary, 295 North Main Street Bountiful and Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 at the church prior to the services.
Interment Bountiful City cemetery. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at America First Credit Union for the Nathan Bateman memorial fund.

Dear Bateman families -
The funeral service for your son and brother was very moving. Each speaker seamed to convey the right message of love and kindness. So glad that we became friends as neighbors. We share a common experience and also share an understanding of the gospel and the Atonement. Cherish the good memories and hopefully time will ease the pain.

Hey Nate, I will miss you brother! As a fellow Army vet and friend I always enjoyed hanging out with you at the VA . The last month we've enjoyed hanging out on the weekend too. When I saw you lsat wed I kept asking you if you were ok and the next thing I heard you had left us. I love your smile and your fun personality and how you taught me to blow on campfires by squeezing your lips together with your fingers. I was very sad to see you go. Love ya buddy.
