Oh the memories of Coach Crane. First at EJH. He told me the object of wrestling was not to stare at the ceiling. And I should stick with Baseball. Later after EJH had the please to hunt ducks and geese with him. A great man and will definitely be missed.

Coach Crane was very supportive throughout my time at EJHS and on his wrestling team. He taught me to never quit. I've thought of him fondly over the past nearly 50 years. Eisenhower Class 1977

I love Coach Crane!
He took the chance to work with me as the first eighth grader to start on the volleyball team. We were together for two years and ultimately had the opportunity to win The District championship with him as my volleyball coach. Coach Crane, Furness and Jameson are all amazing men that impacted my life. He was well liked by all of those who knew him. He pushed us hard to be the best people we could be yet he was kind and inspiring. What a great man and example to the thousands of students he touched through throughout the years. He will be deeply messed by many.

So sorry for your loss, Gloria. I loved visiting with Dick at work, and I´ve really missed seeing him since he retired. I called my dad. Maybe I´ll see if he feels up to coming over Friday night. It would be good to see you all.

I had Mr Crane in 7th grade PE at Bonneville Jr High. I think it was his first year of teaching. I enjoyed him as a teacher and coach.

Coach Crane was great! All of us who wrestled for Coach will remember his legendary daily "parties."
They sounded fun, but were just 30 minutes of brutal calisthenics.

I have wonderful memories of Coach Crane from my time spent at Eisenhower Jr. High. He always had a smile and words of encouragement to all. Though he was the boys coach, I still had a lot of interaction with him as I spent many hours in the Gym amd on the field.
I send my deepest condolences and pray for peace in your life as you ponder the thousands that he influenced for the good. Including me.
