To Roberta's Children - I grew up in Delta, graduated from Delta High School in 1950. I didn't know Roberta then, but later our husbands worked together in the insurance business, living in SLC. At that time, Bob was making it big in ski acrobatic jumping. Roberta got me involved in ice skating, in Sugarhouse. We became close friends those many years ago. May many happy moments be of comfort to you.

I love this beautiful picture of my cousin, Roberta Law Theobald Davison. She looks so much like her dear Mother, Viola Turner Law (my Aunt Vie.) Viola is sister of my Mother, Melva Lucille Turner Blackburn. They were so close in age and also looked very much alike. It is amazing Roberta and her mother and my mother, and my sister, Betty Rae Blackburn Jensen, (all 4 look alike) - would be so fun seeing them all together. Eventually, I will locate a picture of all and do a little write-up about them. My sister, Donna Blackburn - now Warnick - and Roberta were good friends in Delta, Utah. In the Spring of 1931 the Blackburn's moved from Delta to Montana. Over the years they saw on occasion, probably only at funerals. I've known Roberta through the years but being 16 years younger - never knew her well until 1997. I was assigned to have a Turner Cousin Reunion June of 1997. This is when Roberta and I became good friends. She had lots of Turner pictures and making pictures with the computer, was my favorite thing. Roberta came to my house with a load of pictures. We went to my upstairs "bird house" office to the computer. She would hand me pictures, one by one, telling me how many to make. I'd chose the size and print out the picture. A couple times we became so involved she would stay all night. My 60th birthday was about my favorite because Roberta and I spent it together. We made more pictures, talked about our sweet mothers. She showed me how she makes her butterflies, and we talked nearly all night. I have made a huge book, which is called "My Roberta Book." We have had such fun together and became best of friends. We corresponded through letters and by phone. She is such a special and talented person, and so loved. I'll miss her so much and will always our friendship, a true and dear friendship which just automatically happened. She was especially fond of my husband, Bob, and was so thrilled when Bob and I went to the hospital to see her father, Le Grande Law, and they immediately took a liking to each other. I am using up too much space, but probably write a book about my cousin, Roberta. This is Kaye Blackburn Stevens.
Thanks for listening.
