Tanner Anderson-Bell Obituary

1996 ~ 2018
Tanner was born on June 16, 1996 in Murray Utah to John William Bell and Jayme Lynn Davis. He passed away far too soon but very peacefully on March 14, 2018. John and Melanie Bell gave him one younger sister (Katelyn), one younger step-brother (Ian), and four younger brothers (Carter, Aidan, Zachary and Xander). Tad and Jayme Anderson gave him one younger brother (Teig). Tanner was preceded in death by his mother, Jayme Davis Anderson.
Tanner grew up in West Jordan, Utah. He was 12 when his mother passed away and he went to live with his father and stepmother. In 2012, he and his family moved to Spokane, WA. Tanner started at Ferris High School, from which he graduated in 2014. He moved back to Salt Lake to attend college shortly after high school. In the fall of 2017, he returned to live with friends in Spokane Valley. Tanner worked as a cook at Applebee's and talked often about becoming a chef.
One of Tanner's most remarkable qualities was his heartfelt sensitivity. This allowed him to connect with people on a deep level and none more deeply than his siblings and friends. This sensitivity showed through in everything he did, but especially in his art. Tanner was a gifted artist and often spent days making beautifully intricate drawings and then gave them as cherished gifts to friends and family. He also had a poetic soul and was a talented lyricist. He wrote a number of songs, some of which he recorded and published.
Tanner was an amazing person who made an indelible mark on everyone he knew. Our lives are richer and more beautiful because of him. He will be profoundly missed.
Viewing will be held in Spokane, WA at Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM. There will be a reception afterwards at the LDS Havana Building (4444 E. 43rd Ave, Spokane, WA 99223).
The funeral service will be held at Valley View Memorial Park (4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, UT 84120) beginning at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 23, 2018. There will be a viewing prior to the service at 12:00 pm for family and friends. A luncheon will be held following the graveside service at the LDS Harvest Park building located at 3751 Sunnyvale Dr., West Valley City, UT 84120.
