Beverly Nicholson Obituary

Beverly A. Nicholson also known to many as "Bev" was born and raised in San Antonio, Tx to Theda Bernice & Calbert Johnson. Beverly lost her battle with Uterine Cancer at the age of 70 on August 11th, 2023 in Medina Co. Beverly was loved and cared for greatly by her family. She was survived by her daughters, Kristy M. & Michelle R. and husbands Clint Messimer & Armando Rodriguez Jr. She was also survived by her long time friend of 20+ yrs John Beavers & his daughter Amber & her husband Juan Salazar. She was a proud grandma of 12 grandchildren and 1 fur grand baby. She was the best "Grandma Bev". Beverly graduated from Harlandale HS & St. Mary's University w/ her teaching degree. She went on to teach in SAISD at Green Elem. for 30 yrs. After she retired, she went back to teaching at Bright Horizons Daycare for another few years. She was respected and recognized in the workplace. She loved her family and friends with a quiet, kind and passionate heart. She was so loved and will be greatly missed by all. Per her request no services will be held.

To Beverly´s loved ones I am so sorry for your loss. She has been a keepsake forever friend I have known since we were young. There are not many people as kind and caring and understanding as she always was. I will miss her very much. She has been through a lot but really always looked on the bright side of things. May she rest in peace. May all of her loved ones know her love will always be around them. To Beverly I say, may you ride wonderful ponies and read stories to children in heaven and plant in a lovely garden and have pancakes and get to have good times with your family members who´ve gone before you and keep writing your lovely poetry. May you rest in peace and love and happiness.
