Casey was one of the best moms I know..truly. She provided a beautiful home and managed to keep up with each child as if they were her only one. I saw her last fall and she was gracious and enthusiastic about life. I will remember these things as her legacy.

Casey was a wonderful person. We shared many memories and wonderful times in high school, which is truely a lifetime ago. I have always thought about her often - always bringing a smile to my face and laughter to my heart. My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of her family both here in CA and there in TX.

Dear Parker, Annabel, Andrew and Maxwell
I am so very sorry to hear about your mom. I consider Casey a dear friend. There is no way to count the many times she came to me privately to advocate for you and as we all know, "no" was never an acceptable answer to her request.

If there is any good news in this tragedy, it is that Casey will be at God's door each and every day on your behalf. Please know I am thinking and praying for you.
Love to each of you, Susan Lair
