Charles Eastham Obituary

December 6, 1919 - January 29, 2015
Charles Rouss Eastham born on December 6, 1919 went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2015 at the age of 95. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. After graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration in 1949 he became the owner of Ideal Plumbing and Tile until his retirement in 1987. His retirement years were spent socializing with friends, particularly those at the Villas of Leon Valley, playing cards and other games. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Broadway and Kathryn Belle Eastham and his beloved wife Sammie Ruth Eastham. Survivors include his loving children: Deborah Gillespie (Lonnie), Walter Vann (Barbara), Kathryn Andrews (Craig) and Eva Eastham; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous other loving family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Village Parkway Baptist Church where services will conclude.
A special appreciation is given to Santa Rosa Sister Mary Hospice for their love and kindness during his final days.
