Guillermo Escamilla Obituary

ESCAMILLA
Guillermo (Willie) E. Escamilla, at the age of 56, went to heaven to be with our Lord and Savior and his parents Raul and Laura Escamilla on March 13, 2013. He was born October 31, 1956, in San Benito, TX. He graduated from John Jay High School in 1974, and was known for creating some of the most beautiful cakes for all occasions. Willie also used his creativity to help his many friends and family members to make any occasion a very special event for all to enjoy. Willie was always sharing the things he enjoyed creating, from cakes, plants, flower arrangements, and wreaths. He is survived by his brother Raul Escamilla and wife Anita, and sister Miros Flach and husband Pete and numerous nieces and nephews and a great number friends and extended family for which he cared deeply for. The family would like to thank Janie and Carmen for treating Willie as there little brother and looking out for him. A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Castle Ridge Mortuary with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church.

SWEET WILLIE, THE OTHER DAY, TRUE VALUE CLOSED DOWN FOREVER.
MCCULLOUGH IS ALMOST UNRECOGNIZABLE. JULIAN GOLD, DON'S & BEN'S, AND THE OLD SIGMOR ARE THE ONLY REMNANTS OF OUR CHILDHOOD THAT REMAIN.
MISS SEEING YOU AND YOUR PARENTS.
HOPE YOU ARE FULFILLED IN EVERY WAY.
MISSING YOU, SIEMPRE.

ALWAYS REMEMBERING YOU, WILLIE.
HARD TO GO DOWN MCCULLOUGH AND LOOK OVER TO THE OLD BAKERY SPOT. I IMAGINE SEEING YOU IN THE WINDOWS DURING EARLY DAWN.
MISSING YOUR VIBE, AND SEEING YOUR PARENTS EACH DAY, TAMBIEN.
TE QUIERO MUCHO AND MISS YOU MUCH,
SONDRA SUE.

Condolences to Willie's family on his passing to his new celestial home. I will always have fond memories of Willie and still miss seeing Willie and his father working early in the mornings at the bakery they had on McCullough. I remember the crazy Halloween costumes we used to wear and the great laughs we had. We did have our cake and eat it too. May he be surrounded by loved ones and may his family be surrounded by peace at this difficult time.
