Joe W. Elam

Joe W. Elam, born May 6, 1920, passed away April 22, 2002. Mr. Elam was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy Elam; a daughter, Janeva Lindblom; three sons, Norris Elam and wife Linda, Mark Elam, and Jacky Elam and wife Debra; three sisters, Glenda Tipps, Margie Pittman, and Betty Perkins; a brother, Hershel Elam; six grandchildren, Jill O'Bryant, Jaime Bailey, Jordan Elam, Heather Lindblom, Amber Rose Elam and John William Elam, and numerous other family. SERVICES Visitation will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
