Lee Sojot Obituary

Lee Sojot
May 2, 1975 - January 12, 2025
Lee Tremayne Sojot, 49, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on January 12, 2025, after a year-long battle with health complications. Born on May 2, 1975, in California, Lee moved to Hawaii in 1978 and later settled in Texas in 1986. He graduated from Taft High School and went on to study Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin.
Lee had a deep passion for hobbies that brought him joy, including watching anime, enjoying movies, reading, and playing the online game *Asheron's Call*. He was also an avid creator, developing his SimCity SCURK designs on his personal website. His friends will always remember him for his infectious humor, his knack for storytelling, and his genuine kindness. Lee was a devoted cat lover, and much of his time was spent caring for his beloved pets.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Marsha Sojot; his brother, Christopher Sojot (and his wife, Jennille); two nieces and one nephew; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arrangements for services are pending.

Lee's creativity and talent in the SimCity SCURK community will never be forgotten. His detailed works are still etched into my memory, and I can only imagine the imprint Lee has left with others in all of his passions and impressions. I hope Lee rests peacefully and that his family and friends have found some comfort.

I chatted with Lee for many years, we both had a passion for SCURK and SimCity. His skills were absolutely unrivaled and I still play the game with his buildings today.

Thank you Lee for everything.

My deepest condolences to Lee's family.

I myself still cannot fully process Lee not being here. I was just with him a couple weeks ago.
Lee was always such an important person in my life.
We've done so much and even traveled together to New York to see our favorite band L'arc en ciel. Which is something I still vividly remember as if it was yesterday. So many memories of staying late at work just so we could have lunch together. Sleep depriving ourselves due to night shifts just so we can hang out at the Japanese tea gardens, or go to the museum, shop at the Japanese grocery stores, and playing Battle Tech at Jimi's mom's house, watching animes and Japanese TV shows, Sharing music.. Staying up late playing Asherons Call. Ill never forget when I got all of us killed just because I was so set on seeing that stupid bunny refference from Monty Python and the holy grail. I can recall every conversation. His rants about all the historical architecture of San Antonio and world buildings and letting me rant about my obsession with the RMS Titanic. Lee was someone whom I could go years without talking and then have lunch and laugh and talk together like no time had ever passed.
He was my Space Captain Katsura.
My Mochizuki Jirou

All I can say is Thank you Lee, for all of these wonderful memories you have left behind. I'll always love you.
