Lucy Garcia Obituary
Lucy G. Garcia passed into his Lord's hands on February 24, 2009 at the age of 62 years. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Ernest G. Mendiola. She is survived by her parents, Rudy & Sofia Garcia; sisters, Pauline (Edward) Mendiola, Alice (Raul) Villarreal; brothers, Thomas (Mary Louise) Garcia, Rudy Garcia, Jr.; nieces, Ashley, Ruby, Felicia, Jo Ann, Stephanie, Genevieve, Danielle, Veronica, Naomi, Araceli, Angelina, Lynnette; nephews, Edward, Jr., Edward, III, Ronnie, Ernest, Christopher, Mikael, Marc, Mario, Thomas, Jr., Thomas, III, Jose, Rudy III, Romeo and also numerous aunts and uncles.
SERVICES
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009 from 4:00P.M. - 9:00P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00P.M. at Palm Heights Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 27, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery No. 3.

Lucy will truly be missed. On behalf of my Grandmother, Juanita A. Soto, our sincere condolences to the entire Garcia Family. "Ottchie" was a true fighter and never let any obstacle hold her back. I was privilaged to have visit her while in the hospital and she still shined with hope and faith in her heart. She was always a happy soul and was never down. Tio Rudy and Tia Sophia, two great parents and care takers that were unconditionally there for her. Our love and support goes out to all.
