Robin was my upperclassman and squad leader at A&M. Always had respect for him. Sounds like he continued to be a good man.

Although we knew Robin only from the Mico Volunteer Fire Department, his friendly and gentle demeanor were remarkable. His quiet approach to service, whether in community gatherings or in the crisis of firefighting, invoked that special "Peace" that we all so dearly need. He was calm and sure, quick to support those around him. Thank you, Robin, for giving of yourself for our community. You shine!

Robin was such an exceptional man who was loved and respected by so many. I count it a blessing that I got the opportunity to know him and his incredible family. Donna, you were so blessed to have had Robin in your life all these years. However, because you were so blessed, it probably makes your grief even more difficult to bear. Your faith in the lord, I know, will carry you through this most difficult time

So sorry this man left us too soon. Robin was such an example of a Godly man. He served his God, his country and his family with enthusiasm. His music blessed us all in the first service every Sunday. The "old" man on the guitar tickled us. We especially loved when he grew his hair a little longer! I teased him about being an old "hippie"! It will be hard to replace him in the praise band. Our family sends love and prayers to the Schmidt family. We will miss our friend. While we share the family's sorrow , we rejoice with them for the certainty that Robin is free from pain, and celebrating new life.
