Sofia Rodriguez Obituary
Sofia B. Rodriguez went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2010 at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel G. Rodriguez, son Alejandro Rodriguez, sister Margarita D. and brothers Matilde Alejandro and Juan Rojelio. She is survived by her sons Manuel D. and Felix, daughters Anna Louise and Katherine Belle, sisters Maria Elena, Francisca, Juanita, Mercedes Angelina and Maria Del Carmel, brother Merced J., 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will begin Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 4:00 PM with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM at Delgado Funeral Home. Funeral procession will depart Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 9:30 AM for a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at First Memorial Park. Even till this day it hurts ... I was your baby, but never got the chance to say good bye ... There isn't a day that goes by that I dont think about you ... You were always there for me when I needed you and I can NEVER forgive myself for not being there for you when you needed me. I still have your little gurdain angel clock ... Thats the last thing I have to remember you by and its kind of like a security blanket for me ... It stays right by my bed at night ... I love you so much and wish you could see the man im becoming today. I wish you would of be able to meet my kids, you would of loved them and they would of loved you just as much as I do ...
