Bob Baumgardner Obituary
Bob Baumgardner, 84, of Thermal, formerly of Leucadia, died Sunday. He was born in Syracuse, Ind., and was a heavy-equipment operator.
He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II and was a member of the Southern California Ford Retractable Club.
Survivors include his wife, Loraine Baumgardner of Salton City; daughter, Rosalie Kirsch van Reede of Mexico; son, Robert Baumgardner of Orange County; brother, Clark Baumgardner of San Diego; and three grandchildren.
Viewing: noon Monday, Army Navy Academy Chapel, 2605 Carlsbad Blvd., Carlsbad.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
Interment: Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside.
