Felix Hom Obituary
Felix was born in San Diego in 1929, and resided in San Diego and La Mesa until his move up to the Bay Area in 2015 to be with family. He graduated from San Diego High School in 1947 and from the University of California, Berkeley in 1951, with a degree in chemical engineering. For over 40 years, Felix worked as an aerospace engineer at Rohr Industries in Chula Vista, where he became Director of Engineering.
Felix had many great times traveling to Europe for work and for fun. In retirement, he loved playing golf, singing in his church choir, running and walking ("use it or lose it") and was an avid sports fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity.

Felix was one of the first people I met when I hired in to Rohr. Watching him grow in the engineering ranks was gratifying. He was the best Director of Engineering we had. Rest in Peace. Condolences to the entire Hom family!
