My Uncle Jim was a relentlessly positive person. He was an important person throughout my childhood and I always looked forward to our visits to see him, Aunt Joan, and our cousins in Weymouth. More recently, he has called my mom (his sister Kay) every day, and always managed to make her laugh. This was especially important in recent years when my mom has been bed-ridden, and that call was always a bright spot, even on the darkest days. I can still hardly believe that my mom won't be handing me the phone any more for some warm and light-hearted banter with Uncle Jim. We will remember him fondly and miss him dearly.
