Nancy Cacas Obituary
May 14, 1954 - September 23, 2021
San Diego
Born in Germany to Sonja and Ethan McKay Jr., The Navy family's stations included Hawaii, Vallejo, and Idaho before a permanent assignment in San Diego in 1963. A proud Clairemont High graduate, Nancy worked in both primary and secondary education before beginning a successful consulting career in sales and marketing. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her caring family. Nancy is survived by her mother Sonja, daughter Deana, daughter Erica Cacas Phung, son-in-law John Phung and the father of her children, Al Cacas. A Celebration of Life is planned. Please email [email protected] for information. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.

The Clairemont High School Class of 1972 offers our prayers and condolences to Nancy's family. She will be missed by her family and friends. We will remember and honor her at our reunion next year.

Trying to find words....Nancy was and always will be not just a dear friend, but a sister I've looked for for so long...10 years ago this Beautiful Red head touched my heart...and she made an impact that will never leave me...my heart is broken
To her children who were the apples of her eye..she loved you more than life itself
To her beloved Mother, you not only gave her life, but you taught her compassion, patience and standing up for others was the always the right thing to do!
She also had your strength to endure what life gave you and her.
She loved you so much!!!
