Norman Weaver Obituary

WEAVER, NORMAN G. Norman Glen Weaver, 64, passed away suddenly on June 24, 2009, from a heart attack. Norman, also known as "The Pineapple," was a native of Oahu, Hawaii and a resident of Imperial Beach for the past 40 years. Norman was a loving husband and extremely loving and devoted father. He never missed attending any of his daughter's sports events. Norman retired from Otay Water District over seven years ago where he worked as a landscaper. He previously worked at CFS Air Cargo, Inc. on North Island. He loved anything involving cars or dune buggys and took great pride detailing cars and also caring for his yard and garden. Norman is survived by his wife Jeannie; daughters Shelley Carbajal (Daniel) of Chula Vista and Danielle of Imperial Beach; son Norman Jr. (Chele) of Pearl City, Oahu; and brother Arthur Weaver (Nona) of Makakilo, Oahu. His brother Roy Weaver (Puni) of Waianae, Oahu, preceded Norman in death on April 18, 2009. Norman also has three grandchildren, Pi'ikea, Painahala, and Auli'i, and many wonderful family members and friends. A Celebration of Norman's Life will be held Hawaiian style on July 4th, 2 p.m., at his home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Norman to the American Heart Association.
