Robert Apodaca Obituary

Robert Ray Apodaca, 56, of Arroyo Grande, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, at his home. He was born in August 1953 in Lompoc, Calif. Robert was employed by Farm Supply for the past 16 years and was the Assistant Manager for the Arroyo Grande store. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed traveling, barbecuing and especially spending time with his family and grandson. He was a very outgoing, caring individual and touched the lives of many people. What truly brought Robert joy was sharing his Bible-based teachings with everyone he met. In the Bible Jehovah God promises a resurrection where we will see our loved ones again - we look forward to that time. We know that is also what gave Robert strength during the last days of his life. The family would like to thank Hospice, Mr. Jim Braebeck from Farm Supply, and all of our friends and family for their kindness and support. Robert is survived by his family who loved him dearly: his wife of 33 years, Claudia Apodaca; daughter, Rebekah Apodaca; grandson, Alex Apodaca: mother, Minnie Apodaca of Lompoc; sister, Cynthia Motley (Jimmy) of Santa Maria; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Gomez Apodaca; and sister, Rebecca Apodoca. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witnesses, 1285 South 13th St. in Grover Beach. Lori Family Mortuary 922-5880 Santa Maria
