Ruth Brooks Obituary

Ruth Laberta Brooks, 95, was born in Scottsdale, Pa., and died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at her home. She was a member of Shandon Assembly of God. God shined through her in life and music. Her love was freely given and she was never without a good story or joke. All who knew her will miss her dearly. She is survived by her children Norma Curtis, Clayre Brooks, Peggy Chase, Gaynell Crow and Beverly Ward; 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great grandchildren. Viewing will be from 9 until service time at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home, 1703 Spring St. in Paso Robles. Burial will follow at Shandon Cemetery.
