Ricardo Zamora Obituary
Ricardo honored his country by serving in the army during the Vietnam war. He worked as a truck driver for Manley Transfer in Kansas City, Missouri for many years and was a member of Teamsters local 41.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and "tinkering" in the garage. Ricardo had a knack for fixing small engines, appliances and refinishing furniture. He was known as a kind and generous man with a good sense of humor, who was always happy to help others.
Ricardo has been reunited into heaven by his parents Ricardo Sr. and Paz Zamora: sisters Gloria Juarez and Margarita Espinoza, brothers Frank Zamora, Joe Zamora, Fernando Zamora, and Gilbert Zamora.
Ricardo is survived by his daughters, Racheal (Tom) Haas and Yolanda Zamora, sisters, Amelia Cortez, Mary Prado, Janie (Pete) De Los Santos, Stella (Mike) Madero, Grandchildren, Michael (Suzanne) Lopez, Jacqueline Lopez, Matthew (Megan) Haas, Henry (Charvelle) Zamora, Joshua Haas, Terry Solis, Ciana Zamora, Elyjah Zamora-Woolsey, and Erica Haas and Great-Grandchildren, Aiden Gelushia, Sylas Hunter and Ricardo Zamora III.
Pallbearers will be Henry Zamora, Terry Solis, Elyjah Zamora-Woolsey, John Rodriguez, Bobby Rodriguez, Fernando Zamora Jr., Alternates Rocky Rodriguez, Gilbert Natal
Visitation will be at 5pm, on Tuesday, February 15th with Rosary starting at 7pm at Pennington Funeral Home in San Marcos, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10am, February 16th, at St John's Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Catholic church in Ricardo's name.
