Julie Wamsley Obituary

Julie Ann Wamsley
December 13th 1967 - February 12th 2013
Resident of Santa Cruz
Julie Ann Wamsley passed away suddenly at a young age of 45. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. She leaves behind her mother, Jan Wamsley, her sister, Laura Hunsaker, brother in law and niece, Jim Kaitlin Hunsaker. As well as her grandmother, Hazel Wamsley, her aunt, Sue Reese and many other relatives and tons of extended family members.(I wish I could list everones name that was important in Julie's life. She was lucky to have touched so many people and so many people touched her).
Julie worked for Safeway on the westside of Santa Cruz for 24 years and I know will be greatly missed by her coworkers and customers. Julie had a heart of gold and was everyones "best friend". Her passion was the water. She loved to scuba dive and everything that had to do with the ocean.
Services will be held on Saturday March 2nd at 11:00am at the First Congretational Church, 900 High Street, Santa Cruz CA.

I still can't believe you are gone. I am glad I had one more chance to hug you and tell you I love you the Sat. before you left us. Your light still shines with all the love and laughter you have shared thru the years. I have so many special memories of you and Carrie and all the wild antics you two did. I loved your quick smile and jokes. I can still hear your laughter. You have always been and still are one of my girls. We all miss you so much. Rest in peace Yulie and give your dad a hug for me too.

I am truly at a loss for words. I have so many memories of you and your family. That smile and the lovely way you would talk with my dad and the fun we would have with Donna. The picture I have always in my mind is you dressed as a bunny with Allie. May you have eternal peace and perpetual light shine you, may you rest in peace. Love, Marlene

I have been looking at this guest book over and over and it is so nice to see what so many people have to say about you Julie. I don't even know what to say. How are you to say goodbye to your little sister and the Auntie. You are gone way before your time. I pray that you are now at peace. We will all miss you very much. You were more important to so many people than you even ever knew. We love and miss you! Kailtin is going to name a star after you, her Auntie Julie.

My dear friend, I miss you so much. We worked side by side for 24 years. All the little "Julie-isms" remain with me. I still get choked-up at work remembering you. Every baked good that comes through the checkstand and every tag I hang I think of you. I still hear your "psssst-pssst-passst" down the aisles. I turn around...."where is she?" I crave your new peace, for this world is not my home. I'm just passing through. Thank you God for placing Julie (Bulie Boo) in my life. Love, Debbie (Webbie).
