Patricia Teman Obituary

Patricia Wells Teman passed away at her home in Reno, Nevada on August 9, 2023. Pat (as she was known) was born in Santa Cruz, California on December 10, 1939, to Harold and Margaret Gregory Wells.Having graduated from Santa Cruz High School with the class of 1957, she worked for many years as a veterinary technician and owned and operated the "Exchange" tack shop.She was an accomplished horsewoman, completing the very tough "Tevis Cup" (100 mi. endurance ride) two times. In addition, she was also an accomplished seamstress, loving all kinds of crafts. She also took part in the 60 mile "Breast Cancer" walk, the Honolulu and Alaska marathons, to name a few of her achievements.Pat and her husband Ted, hosted many wonderful family gatherings, where her beautiful hand-crafted desserts were always appreciated! She loved decorating their home for all special occasions.Pat was preceded in death by her parents, son Todd, grandmother, Bess Wells and stepsister Vicki Post Sant. She is survived by husband Ted Teman, son Tony (Vanessa), grandsons, Tyler, Maverick and Rocco, sister, Barbara Murray (Keith), step brothers, Sheridan Post (Lynne), Tony Post (Gloria), bother-in-law, Richard Teman (JoAnn), and many cousins. She left a huge hole in our family and we will miss her forever.Donations, if you wish, may be made to Hospice, Reno, Nevada, 227 Vine St. 89503, or your favorite charity, in her name.
