My son Robert went to school with Ian through elementary school to Hancock. I only met Ian a few times but I heard a lot about him, his art and his family. He was a special person and I am glad my son got to know him well. He will carry very fond memories of Ian (especially the laughs they shared)with him forever. He will also hold a special place with my wife Suzan and me. You have our deepest condolences and prayers. Robert and Suzan Parisi

Dear Eric and Stephanie,
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. Although I didn't have the honor and privilege of knowing Ian, I am familiar with the outstanding stock from which he came. May the Lord's continued blessings sustain you at this difficult time.

Ian's courage and maturity far outweighed his earthly age of 19. His own words reflect his compassion for others and his inner strength. He managed to outline for all of us what is important in life and how to face our own destiny with faith and acceptance. He recognized the sadness his family and friends would experience and gave them words of comfort. I pray for Eric and his family to find peace during their period of mourning.

Such a gracious young man. I'am sorry for your and our loss. My grandson went to school with him, and like the loss of Dr. Okerblaum's son we all lost part of goodness in this world.
