Charles Frederick Leary

Schuylerville - Charles Frederick Leary, 44, a resident of River Rd., passed away at his home on Thursday, August 31, 2023.Born May 3, 1979 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of Kevin Leary of Florida and the late Janet Carpenter.Charles was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. He worked as a land surveyor for 22 years and was most recently employed by Colliers Engineering. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and golfing. He was a people person and an animal lover, especially to his 3 cats, Blue, Hoobie, and Baby Jade, his 2 dogs, Tala and Yuma, and his turtle, Turtler.In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Carissa Conley Leary; 4 brothers, Christopher and Mason Leary and Jeffry and Adam Carpenter; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn Bros.
