Hester Workman Obituary

TOPEKA, Kan. – Hester H. Workman, age 46, of Topeka, KS and formerly of Sterling, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
She was born the daughter of Larry E. and Aliecia (Snyder) Workman on August 8, 1974. She was a 1992 graduate of Sterling High School.
Hester was currently employed as a legal support staff supervisor for the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. She enjoyed waterparks, watching crime and medical shows, puzzles, reading and her beloved dog, Peanut. Her kids were her pride and joy and the upmost importance. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her cherished children, Dillon M. Jay, Sidney R. Jay and their father, David H. Jay; parents; sister, Stephanie L. Shuey and her husband Randall; and a brother, Roderick A. Workman and his wife Amy.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Louis and Wilma Workman; and maternal grandparents, Donavon and Heloise Snyder.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation took place Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. May 22, 2021, at Rock Falls Community Center, 601 W. 10th St., Rock Falls.
