STERLING – Lois Annette Brien, age 67, died at home, Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Lois was born on November 4, 1957 in Sterling the daughter of Ray and Ida (Highsmith) Joslin. She married Joe Brien on October 30, 1981 in Sterling. Lois worked at and managed the Sunbeam Store in Rock Falls for several years. She enjoyed spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Brien of Sterling; three daughters, Betsy Walker, Jennifer Walker both of Rock Falls and Gina (Izzy) Medina of Sterling; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Timothy Joseph Brien.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.
