Matthew L. Morrissey age 60 of Dixon passed away on Sunday Dec. 29, 2024. He was born on June 9, 1964 in Dixon the son of W. Charles and H. Joan (Lauritzen) Morrissey. Matthew was a graduate of Aurora University. He is preceded in death by his parents. Matthew is survived by his son Jack (Nikol Backo) Morrissey of Naperville, siblings Jeannie (Paul) Shiaras of Dixon, Michael Morrissey of Dixon, Jane (Chuck) Murphy of Dixon, Judy (Dan) Ford of Stillman Valley, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation rites have been accorded with a private family service to be held at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Arrangements by the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.
