Tilda "Tillie" M. MacRunnels, 73, of Dixon, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at her home in Dixon, surrounded by her family.
Tillie was born, on February 9, 1950, in Pana, the daughter of Jesse and Isozdora (Wheeler) Lowe. She married Phillip MacRunnels on December 15, 1983, in Dixon. Tillie enjoyed hosting fourth of July parties, treasure hunting, and traveling to be with family. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Tillie is survived by her husband, Phillip MacRunnels; three children, Rod Drew, Thelma (David Sr.) St. James, Margaret (John Tate Jr.) Simmons; seven grandchildren, Rodney, Tasha, David, Jr., Skyler, Abigail, Darius, Elijah; ten great-grandchildren, one brother, LeRoy Lowe; and three sisters, Margaret Stanley, Betty Holmes, Mary Katherine Richardson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and five siblings, Racheal Milligan, Meynard Milligan, Charles Milligan, Gertrude Rufus, and Bobby Milligan.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am - until time of service at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon, with Rev Dave Rogula, officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon.
Memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice & Home.
Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon.
