So sorry to hear of George's passing. We were good friends at the University of Alabama. I knew he had become a dentist and I am sure he was a good one. I remember George kept cold Cokes in his refrigerator for visitors to have.

George was a great friend and travel buddy. We shared many wonderful experiences in Europe as well as in the U.S. For ten years he was one of my very best friends and there are many, many people who will miss him greatly.

I've known George since 1984 and he has been my best male friend since then. We went to dinner, we went to musicals and plays. When I lost my job, George told me to help him at his office. When I did, he told me it was the way he invisioned his office working. He was a great dentist with much compassion for his patients. We went to the health club; that's when he found out he was ill. He was brave. He loved life. He had confidence and I think that is what carried him so long in his valiant battle....

I loved George; he was my friend, and he will be very missed! His family is wonderful and he loved them very much. He talked about all of you a lot, and I got to know Bill. What a great brother!

Peace to my friend George.
