My Dearest Nat,
My heart feels broken. A day doesn't go by that I don't find myself thinking about you. When I last laid eyes on you, you looked so peaceful and finally at rest. Here I was, at the Church that you had took me too so many years ago and all the memories start floating back. I just manage to see your lovely face once more to try to say goodbye, and I found that I couldn't do it.
There were so many people there to show their love and say goodbye. Your family showed the world just how much they love you and how deeply you will be missed. It was so packed that I ended sating outside the door with some of your friends. They ask me was I a friend or kin to the family. I couldn't answer because you were to me so much more.
I was supposed to speak on the program and you know something, I just couldn't do it. How could I put into words just how much me and my family love you. Loyal,Faithful,Loving,Kind,Gentle,Wiseand the list is endless.
All I could do was cry. We both have cried together so many times. Nat, you were so brave and always thinking about your love ones to the very end.
No one else matter in life but God and you and our families. You can rest in peace and look down upon us and know that all the love and things you taught us will be carried on.
I will love you always.

How do you say goodbye to a friend that have always been like a Sister and went out of her way when we first met, to make me Welcome. So many years and so many tears, yet so much joy and happiness along the way.
I was so lucky and blessed to be a part of Nat's life. I learn so much from this very gifted Lady that help me to grow and come full circle in my life.
We have been to many places together and each time I learn so much about Georgia and the people who live here. There is so much rich history and most people that live here take it for granted.
People come and go in your life, but a REAL FREIND last for a LIFETIME!
