I worked with Rick at the Wounded Warrior Transition Battalion and he was one of the kindest and hardest working people I know. He will be deeply missed. I just found out this morning and am feeling deep sorrow for the loss of a wonderful social worker.

To Cathie and Kim, I was so sorry to hear of Rick's Death. I knew him for many years when we both worked together on Rehab (at its old location in the hospital) and shared stories of our daughters' growing up. He was one of the most decent and kindly gentlemen I have been acquainted with, and a tremendous gift to the patients and families with whom he worked. I saw him by chance when he came back to the hospital with his illness and was impressed by his attitude.
I can only imagine how much you will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jorgensen Family,
My heart is broken to hear about Rick's death. Rick was one of those people who you were proud to know. I worked with him at Memorial Rehab for many years. He worked long hours to make sure his patients had what they needed. Most of all I knew he was a Christian man with high moral standards and a love for his God and family that all men should have. He loved life and was looking forward to whatever the future held. He was my friend and for that I am truly thankful.
