Donna Fitzpatrick Obituary

Donna Diann Boyer Fitzpatrick
Passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 of leukemia. She was born in Rawlins, WY on March 20, 1943 (the first day of spring) and raised in Riverside, CA. She was in the first graduating class of Rubidoux High School in 1961, majored in commercial arts in college, and was married from 1965-76. As a resident of Highland for over 30 years, she was an artist at heart and retired in 2008 from the San Bernardino Sun Newspaper after nearly 45 years as a graphic artist, much of that time in a supervisory position. There, she met her three closest friends, Betty Hoye (deceased), Lucille Robinson, and Irene Froats. She was a member of Soroptomist Intl. for over 30 years, serving twice as president. As a Lutheran in her youth, Donna Diane rejoined the Church in 2012. Donna Diane was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Lewis Boyer and brother Stephen Boyer. She is survived by her brother Douglas (and Julie) Boyer of Prairie City, Oregon; and nephews Aaron Boyer and Jonathon (Anna) Boyer. Please send any memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
