I'll always carry fond memories of my Uncle Buck in my heart - he was my godfather and I'll never forget those Christmas Eve visits years ago that made my childhood holidays so magical. In my adulthood, Uncle Buck was not only a brother to my Mom but a friend to both my parents. Through the years he was a key part of many entertaining conversations that took place at the kitchen table over a Yuengling (or two). After my Mom (Aunt Phyllis) died Uncle Buck remained close to my Dad (Uncle Skinny) who treasured his friendship. I remember breakfasts at the Garfield Diner with the 2 of them - words can't capture it but I cling to the memories. The last time I saw Uncle Buck in May he seemed as strong and steady as ever. I'm surprised and saddened by his death and will love him always. My heart goes out to my cousins who lost their dear Dad and to our whole family. Sending my love.
