Travis Lee Block Sr., 35, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at his home.
Born Jan. 19, 1986, in Altoona, he was a son of Robert J. Block and Michele Herring Edling.
Travis attended Pottsville Area schools throughout his life. He last worked for FedEx as a package handler. Travis will always be remembered as a "happy go lucky" guy who enjoyed life. His greatest joy and love were for his children.
Travis is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Herring; stepfather, Robert Edling; paternal grandfather, Vernon Kamp.
Travis is survived by his parents, Robert Block and Michele Edling; with his children, Travis Jr., Athan, Destiny and Fate. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Block Jr., husband to Socorro, of San Antonio, Texas, Brandon Block, of Schuylkill Haven, Nicholas Block, of San Antonio, and Shelby Lerch, of Minersville. He is also survived by his half-siblings, Joshua Block, of Saint Clair, and Carissa Block, of Pottsville, along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhome.com.

I am sad and sorry to read that Travis has passed away. I thought highly of him. He seemed to be on a good path last time and was looking forward to bright future last time I spoke with him. I will never forget him. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Sincerely,
