Clearwater - A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Clearwater for Lori J. Youngdahl, age 50, of Clearwater, who passed away on June 16, 2021 at University of Minnesota Hospital. Reverend Dennis Backer will officiate. Burial will be at St. Luke's Parish Cemetery in Clearwater.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021 and after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Clearwater. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, Clearwater.

Lori was born on June 13, 1971, to Liliah (Svedahl) and Melvin Wang in Crookston, Minnesota. Lori grew up in Fertile and attended Fertile Beltrami High School. She later graduated from Lake Region North Dakota College where she earned her bachelor's degree in education and played volleyball and basketball on the school's teams. She then attended St. Cloud State University for additional degrees. During her time at St. Cloud State, Lori met her husband, Brian. Lori was a teacher for many years and in many places including Texas and Minnesota, including Monticello, Annandale, St. Cloud, and Stephen Argyle, Minnesota. Lori was a loving and kind wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend to so many. She enjoyed playing sand volleyball, Zumba, bicycling, boating, and spending time at the cabin with her family and friends.

Lori is survived by her husband, Brian; children, Shane and Jossy; mom, Lilah (Svedahl) Wang; siblings, Mark, Mike, Leanne (Junior) Sannes and Mitch; cousins, Jeff and Jill Svedahl; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Wang.
