Funeral services will be held (TODAY) Friday, May 18, 2012 at 4:00pm at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud for Michael Edward Skaj, 54, of St. Cloud who died Sunday, May 13. Rev. Al Stangl will officiate. Relatives and friends may call after 3:00pm TODAY at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Michael was born on July 12, 1957 to Edward and Margaret (Mulrooney) Skaj. He was an over the road truck driver for RW Express for over 10 years; Michael was also employed in production at Viking Coke for 14 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing karaoke, dancing and whistling. Michael was a talented handyman who could fix just about anything. He most loved spending time with, and spoiling, his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his children, Crystal (Justin Studer) Skaj of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Trever, Connor, Brendan and Mason Studer; siblings, Judy Meinz, AK, Rosemary Eisenschenk of St. Cloud, Richard McDonald of CA, Linda Weber of Sauk Rapids, Tina (Virgil) Orbeck of Cold Spring, JoAnn (Randy) Willemsen of Paynesville, Joseph (Cheri) Skaj, Anitta Bloom, John Skaj, Jackie Christenson, all of St. Cloud; and step-mother, Beverly Skaj of St. Cloud.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lucille and Elaine Mc Donald and a brother, Dan McDonald.

This is Hans I'm very sorry to hear about "Mac" I know I have not been around that much but that's because I'm living in Welch Mn. Your brother was a real nice friend and I will always remember the good time we had together. I 'm sorry I missed the funeral I had gotten the information late and had to work.

I want to say that his family gave Mike a WONDERFUL service. Thank You all. I know he will be missed. But he is now with his Mom and DAD and two sisters Lucy & Elaine and his brother Dan. Peace be with you Mike. You are now with God and he will always be there for you Mike.
