May Memories Comfort You
"We will all leave this place, but not before we bring JOY to many others that's remembered ever more." In time, the pain in your heart will be replaced by peace, the memories will be comforting, the thoughts will be only of love... That day will come no matter how far away it may seem, and until then, please know there are many people who care about you and will be there to support you along the way.
Miss his smile, his wisdom and willingness to share it, he was a great guy, full of energy and fun. MCHC isn't the same without him.
Forever in our Memories!
Our sincere sympathy,
Beaty and Adriane

To all of you who sent words of encouragement and kind remembrances of Mike,
We thank you and so appreciate your help through this difficult time. We will all miss him terribly but you have made our grief so much more bearable and our future so much brighter. We will read your prayers and thoughts over and over. Our hearts are broken but we rejoice in knowing that we will see him again since he knew Jesus as his Savior. Thank you. Thank you.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Norton family. We had the pleasure of meeting Mike a year ago while apartment hunting for our son Ryan and his friend Josh. It was their first year of college and I was very apprehensive about Ryan living off campus. Mike rented his upstairs apartment to them and it couldn't have been a more wonderful experience for all of us. Mike was much more than a landlord to them, he was also a good friend. It gave us great comfort knowing that Mike was always close by during Ryan's first year away from home. The boys truely respected and admired Mike for his hard work, drive and motivation. Thank you for raising such a wonderful young man. He will saddly be missed. Chris Doucette

If there is anything I can do for either of you, please let me know. Terry, I want to let you know you are always welcome to come over to my office to talk.

Anyone who met Mike will always remember him for his hard work and great sense of humor. He taught me a lot in the past year while renting the upstairs apartment and working with him for his Greengrass landscaping company. He helped two young college students with their first apartment and made it a great experience. A great friend who went out of his way to help others. He will be missed.

I only met Mike once and talked to him on the phone a few times, but it was clear to me that he was a bright, wonderful, good guy that had accomplished so much in such a short amount of time. To his family, I want you to know that he talked about you a lot, and it was obvious how close he was to everyone, especially his mom, dad, and grandmother. It's a tragic loss and I am deeply sorry. He will be missed by all.

Mike was a great guy. I'll never forget sledding on the promenade, watching the super bowl at Kellogg Street, cruising in the "Crown Vic". If only I could find that video of me crushing the kitchen chair when he was living on Kellogg Street. It was hilarious!! I hadn't seen him in about 7 years, but I thought of him recently, and was wondering what he was up to. This is a crappy way to find out. My condolences to the family. I wish you the best in dealing with these hard times.

My sincere sympathy goes out to everyone that had the pleasure of knowing Mike. He was a great person to be around, he had a great sense of humor and a great love for his family and friends. I had the pleasure of knowing him; we worked at the same place for about a year and spent a lot of time with him here. I am in complete shock that such a good life was cut way too short is such a horrific way. No one, especially Mike deserved that. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this very difficult time. May you rest in peace.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

From the moment I met Mike at MCHC, he had a way of making me feel "at home", along with so many other people. He was easy to talk to, never judgemental, and usually had such a serious look on his face. But, every once in a while, I could get a smile out him when I'd ask "which way is the gym":) It's just too unbelievable for me. I can picture you with your little grin, rubbing your fingers together as if to have money between them. It makes me smile to think of it. Your determined attitude is something that so many people admired, including myself, and I am going to miss that. MCHC will not be the same without you. Thank you, Mike for always sticking by me when times got rough with certain people, I could always count on you to have my back. You were a great friend, Mike.
To Mike's family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. May you all find comfort in the memories that you hold of Mike. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by so many people.
Rest in peace Mike.

My sincere condolences. I met Mike through a previous co-worker and had the privilege of talking to him on only one occasion. That evening, though, I remember his humor and especially the great respect that he showed me as the mom of one of his friends. No life is ever forgotten by those that truly understand. My heartfelt prayers are with your family. Andrea Cesario and the Guerrette family
