Alejandro Quitlong Obituary

Alejandro Mamaril QUITLONG, Lt. Alejandro Mamaril Quitlong, Lt., Philippine Air Force (retired) passed away peacefully on March 20, 2011 at home in Seattle, Washington surrounded by his family. Alex as he was fondly known was born February 16, 1923 in Bugallon, Pangasinan, Philippines. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia Dizon Quitlong, of Seattle, sons Querubin (Zenaida Niere), Quintin (Marietta Paredes) both of Seattle and daughter Queenie (Raffy Bruan III) of Federal Way, grandsons Gilbert Paredes Quitlong and Brandon Jonathan Bruan and great-grandson Jayden Carter Quilit Quitlong and numerous relatives in the USA, Canada and Philippines. Viewing will be Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25 from 1 pm to 7 pm at St. Mary's Church, 611 20th Ave. S, Seattle, Washington. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Friday, March 25 at 7 pm also at St. Mary's Church. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, March 26 at 10 am at St. Mary's Church. Reception following at the school hall and interment will be at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery, Federal Way, Washington.
